Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient screenings and review medical histories
- Perform oral cancer screenings and head/neck evaluations
- Take X-rays and maintain accurate dental charting
- Remove calculus, plaque, and stains from teeth
- Apply preventive treatments such as sealants and fluoride
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and nutritional habits
- Keep detailed and accurate patient records
Qualifications
- Current and valid Michigan RDH license
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA guidelines
- Proficient in dental tools, radiography, and documentation
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and a true team player
