We’re looking for a Dental Assistant in Kalamazoo, Mi who is friendly, organized, and enjoys being part of a supportive team. At Midwest Family Dental Care, we’re dedicated to providing excellent patient care in a welcoming, professional environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Work under the general supervision and guidance of a dentist
- Provide chair side assistance to the Dentist during dental examinations and treatment
- Charting during dental examination
- Take and process X-rays
- Maintain instruments, as well as the sterilization area set up and break down operatories
- Assist with charting, records, and patient education
- Help keep the daily schedule running smoothly
- Assist with supply inventory and ordering
- Maintain a clean and professional office environment
- Assist with presenting and/or explaining treatment plans
- Maintain a high level of customer service at all times
- Work as part of a team with emphasis on communication
What We’re Looking For:
- Dental Assisting certificate, CDA, or RDA (preferred)
- X-ray certification
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Positive, professional attitude
