Tennessee Family Dental Care stands out as an exceptional choice for family dentistry in Nashville, TN. With convenient locations in Bellevue and the vibrant Midtown area, we are currently in search of a full-time general dentist to join our team at our Midtown & Bellevue locations.
We are looking for a full time (4 or 5 days per week) Associate Dentist to perform all aspects of general dentistry, including but not limited to fillings, crowns, simple and surgical extractions, non-complex endodontic treatment. In addition, you will also undertake tasks aiming for prevention of oral health disease, and head and neck cancer screenings. Our Midtown office is made up of primiarly Medicaid patients.
A great dentist is a highly qualified professional and compassionate individual. You must be knowledgeable in regards to diseases, epidemiology and other dental conditions so you can interpret symptoms and diagnose conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine oral exams and head/neck cancer screenings for hygiene patients
- Give appropriate advice for healthy habits and preventative actions to promote overall health
- Provide a diagnosis and treatment for all general and emergency patients
Requirements:
- State of Tennessee Dental License
- Excellent knowledge of oral and systemic disease
- Broad knowledge of common medication and their oral effects
- In-depth knowledge of legal dental guidelines
- Excellent oral communication skills

- Possess excellent leadership skills
